Surface Treatment

With Low Pressure Plasma equipment, we can alter surfaces for improved adhesion strength and customized surface properties.
For instance, a tuned wetting property for immersion techniques, or a hydrophobic surface for low adhesion properties. These coating layers are often a critical step for making parts and machines function properly.

With PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition), thin layers can be applied with hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties. Coating layers comprise glasslike (HMDSO) material and are applied with defined thicknesses ranging from 20nm to 1000nm.

We also use these techniques for some Thin Film Seals and Ultra-Thin Foils.
