How we create
Align, fix, release
Every solution we make has to do three things perfectly. It must be positioned exactly where it belongs, hold reliably for as long as it is needed, and come off cleanly when the time comes. To achieve that, we build each laminate layer by layer, with every layer designed for a specific role in the final function.
Built layer by layer
A functional laminate can consist of several layers. Together they determine how the product is handled, how it performs and how it is removed.
Information layer
Provides visual information, identification and handling instructions within the laminate. It enables clear marking, critical warnings, positioning references and temporary fixing.
Alignment layer
Takes care of handling, registration and controlled release. Think of pull tabs, alignment holes, registration marks, easy-peel constructions and multiple release levels, with a controlled peel force from 0.5 to 10 N/cm.
Function-critical layer
Delivers the mechanical, electrical and optical behaviour the application needs. Depending on the function, this layer can provide electrical conductivity, grounding, EMI shielding, antistatic properties, a thermal interface, a barrier layer, laser marking, optical windows, ventilation, breathability or spacer structures.
Adhesion film
Forms the customer-specific bond, from 1.5 to 10 µm thick, and is the foundation of the stack. Where needed, glue-free zones can be built in.
Release liner
Protects the laminate during handling and allows fast, clean removal through a finger-lift tab, cut or enlarged edge, even when working with cleanroom gloves.
Converted as one precision system
We shape every layer as one precision system, so complex contours and features stay registered throughout the entire stack, to a positioning accuracy of ±1 µm.
- Laser cutting uses femtolaser and CO2 laser for non-contact cutting of complex, high-precision contours.
- Kiss and die cutting that keep parts on the liner to die cuts that fully separate them, every shape is cut precisely to depth for easy handling and repeatable quality at volume.
- Micro-perforation creates controlled micro-holes for ventilation or gas exchange.
- Multi-level converting applies multiple cut depths in one laminate, fully registered across all layers.
Adhesive films made in-house
The adhesion film is the heart of every laminate, and we develop and produce it ourselves. That gives us control over properties that are difficult to source elsewhere.
- Chemically inert means no reaction with the environment in which it is applied.
- Solvent-free means clean processing with no volatile residues.
- Low outgassing makes it suitable for vacuum and cleanroom environments.
- Temperature stable performance from minus 40 to plus 150 °C.
- Removable adhesion that is not permanent like epoxy, yet offers comparable performance.
- Thickness from 1.5 to 50 µm, set per customer in steps of 1 µm.
- 1 µm precision, with the option to specify an adhesive structure or pattern.
- Custom peel and shear strength, engineered and verifiable per application.
Carrier materials and adhesive systems/films
- Metal foils from 5 µm, including stainless steel, copper, titanium, gold and ultra-black foil.
- Polymers from 3 µm, including COC, PI, PTFE, PEEK, PFA, ETFE, PVDF, PMMA, UHMWPE, FEP, PEI, PAI, PET, PBT and dissipative (antistatic) PE.
- Pressure-sensitive adhesives in acrylic, EVA or polyamide, which bond under pressure with no cure time.
- Thermoplastic adhesives (hotmelt), which bond when the film is briefly heated.
From design to delivery
Once the laminate is designed and validated, we produce it in our own cleanrooms in ISO class 5, 6 or 7, from a single prototype to 10,000+ pieces at consistent quality. Every product is mechanically tested and packed to semiconductor or medical grade.

Discuss your application
Every solution starts with a conversation. Tell us what your part needs to seal, bond, protect or align, and under which conditions it has to perform. Whether you bring an early concept or a finished drawing, one of our experts will think along with you, engineer the laminate around your function, validate it in a prototype and carry it into series production.
